It's been a decade that I've been using the Spectre for pleasure dives and classes. For both its been a delight. We get great dive spots, a cooperative crew and satisfying fills (food and air). Head for the blue hull in Ventura Harbor.

I was planning a trip to California in December of 1998 and was looking for a reputable dive operation. I called a travel agency in California and the agent told me he takes trips out on the Spectre. He gave me the number and I was able to book the trip with Ted Cummings on the Spectre. The gear I rented was on the boat ready, that morning all I had to do was enjoy the day of diving at Anacapa Island. I had a bunk to keep my camera case and extra clothes and was able to take a nap on the way back to port. It was great. I have had the opportunity to take two more trips. One in September of 1999 and September of 2000. The Spectre has yet to disappoint me. My son and I did a variety of dives and was served an excellent meal. So if you are in the LA area I recommend diving with Ted Cummings on the Spectre for a professional and safe diving experience.
